About Us
My name is Gary Witcher and I live in the Nashville Tennessee area. I was born in west Texas and raised in Shafter, California, a small farming community close to Bakersfield, which is probably the oil capital of the western states. I have many friends who have worked in or in related fields of the oil industry. Though the oil fields have been good tinancially to the area, we have witnessed the pollution rise in Bakersfield to some of the dirtiest and most hazardous in the USA.
My wife and I are part of middle class America where high gas prices are devistating our ranks. We are probably just like most of you. I have a small home based travel business. I am not anyone special but just a person who is fed up with our elected officials serving themselves and not serving the people of our country. I am tired of the politcians who care more about their party than America. And I'm sick of greedy companies taking advantage of the common people. I figured it was time I tried to do something, anything. So that is why I started "We Said No More'
